Zinda Foods is launches Chicken Makhni Air Wrap into Tesco stores this month.<\/p>

The wrap comprises chicken in Zinda\u2019s butter chicken sauce with shredded cabbage and carrots encased in the brand\u2019s signature Air Wrap base.<\/p>

The AirWrap<\/a>, which Zinda debuted in 2018, is billed as being the UK\u2019s first natural artisan wrap base. It claims to be high fibre, low carb and high protein and is made with no palm oil, trans-fats or preservatives.<\/p>

The Chicken Makhni AirWrap<\/a> had been developed in collaboration with Michelin star chef Alfred Prasad to offer shoppers \u201ca world-class eating experience designed to transport them to their favourite Indian restaurant\u201d, it added.<\/p>

It hit 62 Tesco stores this week (rsp: \u00a32.75\/225g).<\/p>

Zinda hopes the wrap, which will be available as part of Tesco\u2019s meal deal, will tap changing consumer demand for \u201cmore interesting\u201d food-to-go options.<\/p>

\u201cWe felt encouraged to see the strong rate of sales in Tesco for our bolder, vibrant flavours,\u201d said Zinda Foods founder and MD Anishya Kumar.<\/p>

\u201cWe are now confident the time seems right to introduce an equally exciting flavour and keep the momentum going.\u201d<\/p>
